Online Interactive Search using PayPal

For first time users: To create an acount please use the "Create an Account" to the left.  Through our online interactive database, a parent can access any provider who is licensed in the state of Nebraska. In order to provide you with the safest and most secure payment system Midwest uses the PayPal system to collect your credit care information. Once you have signed in with PayPal you will receive an email providing you with a User ID and Password for your search. This ID and Password will be good for approximately 10 days.

Parent's privacy is our top priority. Midwest does not sell, trade or rent personal information to anyone. Nor will we use or share your personally information with anyone.

The online search is interactive, therefore the parent can search by any Nebraska zip code. Select those zip codes that are close to your home, on your way to work, or one that is between your home and work locations. Our online search has maps for the parent to get an idea of the route and distance from their home or work to their day care location.

In addition, the parent can view the facility's program and activities, see what the nearest elementary school is to the location, and whether the facility charges any late fees. The parent can print out the provider profiles, materials on choosing child care and other work/family related materials at no extra charge. For family child care homes, the address is not displayed for the safety of the provider and children.

Why do I pay a $35.00 fee to access the Child Care Database?

Midwest Child Care Association is a non-profit organization which depends on contracts and grants to provide our services. Presently we do not receive any funding to provide this service to the public. In order for us to manage, maintain and update our database we must ask for a small fee to assist us in paying for our labor.
