Workshops

Midwest offers monthly workshops to centers and homes in order for them to maintain their license and CACFP training requirements.

 

CPR and First Aid Classes: Midwest is now offering CPR and First Aid Classes at our office in Omaha.

Fee:  CPR (alone) = $35;  First Aid (alone) = $20; Both CPR & First Aid together = $45

• November 14 - CPR & First Aid - 10:00a.m. - 2:00p.m.
• December 8 - First Aid - 6:30p.m. 8:30p.m.
• December 10 - CPR - 6:30p.m. - 8:30p.m.
• All classes are instructed by Lisa Munoz and are held at the Midwest office at 7701 Pacific Street, Suite 200 in Omaha.

Tax Time Is Quickly Approaching!

Join Midwest Child Care Association along with Associated Tax service to get a jump start on next year’s taxes! Learn how to make sure you are taking all the deductions possible in your child care business. Page Moore is a former child care provider, so she has 1st hand knowledge about the business of child care and taxes. There will be donuts and coffee provided and time for questions and answers. Join us on Saturday, December 12th from 8:30 a.m. until noon at the Hanscom Park United Methodist Church, at 4444 Francis Street (1 block south of 45th and Center).
