Infant and Child CPR & First Aid

This six-hour course provides essential emergency care information for people responsible for the protection and supervision of children and infants. It focuses on first aid responses for injuries and accidents most likely to affect young people. An Adult CPR overview is included. This comprehensive course meets or exceeds state and federal requirements for child care providers and day care facilities.

• Infant & Child CPR + First Aid = $40
• Couples Rate = $65
• Length: 6.5 hours for the full course; available in English and Spanish
• Designed for childcare providers, teachers, parents and others who care for children.
• This course teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children up to 8 years of age.
• Students learn the importance of breathing barriers and disposable gloves in preventing disease transmission.
• Participants take home a refresher skills card as well as information about preventing injuries.
• Infant CPR - applies to infants up to 12 months of age.
• Child CPR - applies to children age 1 to 8 years of age.
• Couple Rates provide one set of take home materials per couple

• First Aid & CPR: 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
• First Aid ONLY: 8:00 a.m. - 11 a.m.
• CPR ONLY: 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Evening Classes

• First Aid & CPR: 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Monday and Wednesday Evenings)
• First Aid ONLY: 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Monday Evenings)
• CPR ONLY: 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Wednesday Evenings)
