CACFP Training
The Department of Agriculture runs the Child and Adult Care Food Program. One of the federal regulations to fulfill your contract and participate in the food program is to receive at least one training session per year. Midwest Child Care Association has created this "online" training opportunity for our providers. This online training is one option for you to fulfill your requirement of training. The training modules below have a number next to them. This number tells you how many points you will receive for reading, understanding and completing a summary of the article. If you choose to use this online method of training, you must acquire at least 5 points per year to fulfill your training obligation. Once you have completed your summary, Midwest must receive your summary statement, either by mail or email. Once this summary is received, we will send you by mail or email a Certificate of Completion which you must keep in your files. These certificates must be available to Midwest's Area Representative and the State's Representative for review when a home visit is made.
If you choose to email your summary, please click on "E-mail Summary" at the bottom of each article.
